65:1 For the director of music. A psalm of David. A song. Praise awaits you, O God, in Zion; to you our vows will be fulfilled.
65:2 O you who hear prayer, to you all men will come.
65:3 When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions.
65:4 Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple.
65:5 You answer us with awesome deeds of righteousness, O God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas,
65:6 who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength,
65:7 who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.
65:8 Those living far away fear your wonders; where morning dawns and evening fades you call forth songs of joy.
65:9 You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it.
65:10 You drench its furrows and level its ridges; you soften it with showers and bless its crops.
65:11 You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance.
65:12 The grasslands of the desert overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness.
65:13 The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing.
65:1 Praise befits You, O God, in Zion; / And to You is the vow paid.
65:2 O You who hear prayer, / To You all flesh comes.
65:3 Iniquities prevail against me; / As for our transgressions, You make propitiation for them.
65:4 Blessed is he whom You have chosen and bring near / To dwell in Your courts. / We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, / Of Your holy temple.
65:5 By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, / O God of our salvation, / You who are the trust of all the ends of the earth / And of the remotest sea;
65:6 Who established the mountains in His strength, / Girded with might;
65:7 Who stilled the roaring of the seas, / The roaring of their billows, / And the tumult of the peoples.
65:8 And they who dwell in the uttermost parts / Are afraid of Your signs; / You make the exitways of the morning and the evening / Shout for joy.
65:9 You visit the earth and water it; / You enrich it greatly: / The river of God is full of water. / You provide men grain, for so You have prepared the earth.
65:10 Saturating its furrows, settling its ridges, / You soften it with showers; / You bless its sprouting forth.
65:11 You place a crown on a year with Your goodness, / And Your wagon tracks drop fatness;
65:12 The wilderness pastures overflow, / And the hills gird themselves with exultation.
65:13 The meadows are clothed with the flock, / And the valleys cover themselves in grain; / They shout for joy; indeed they sing.
