Ps 110

110:1 Of David. A psalm. The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”

110:2 The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion; you will rule in the midst of your enemies.

110:3 Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy majesty, from the womb of the dawn you will receive the dew of your youth.

110:4 The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind: “You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”

110:5 The Lord is at your right hand; he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.

110:6 He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.

110:7 He will drink from a brook beside the way; therefore he will lift up his head.

110:1 Jehovah declares to my Lord, / Sit at My right hand / Until I make Your enemies / Your footstool.

110:2 Jehovah will send forth / The scepter of Your strength from Zion: / Rule in the midst of Your enemies.

110:3 Your people will offer themselves willingly / In the day of Your warfare, / In the splendor of their consecration. / Your young men will be to You / Like the dew from the womb of the dawn.

110:4 Jehovah has sworn, / And He will not change: / You are a Priest forever / According to the order of Melchizedek.

110:5 The Lord is at Your right hand; / He will shatter kings in the day of His anger.

110:6 He will execute judgment among the nations; / He will fill the place with corpses; / He will shatter the head / Over a great land.

110:7 He will drink from the brook by the way; / Therefore He will lift up His head.
