25:1 Then Bildad the Shuhite replied:
25:2 “Dominion and awe belong to God; he establishes order in the heights of heaven.
25:3 Can his forces be numbered? Upon whom does his light not rise?
25:4 How then can a man be righteous before God? How can one born of woman be pure?
25:5 If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes,
25:6 how much less man, who is but a maggot–a son of man, who is only a worm!”
25:1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said,
25:2 Dominion and dread are with Him; / He makes peace in His high places.
25:3 Is there any number to His armies? / And upon whom does His light not arise?
25:4 How then can a man be righteous with God? / And how can one born of a woman be pure?
25:5 Indeed, even the moon has no brightness, / And the stars are not pure in His eyes.
25:6 How much less a man, a maggot; / And the son of man, a worm!
