Exo 36

36:1 So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the LORD has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary are to do the work just as the LORD has commanded.”

36:2 Then Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the LORD had given ability and who was willing to come and do the work.

36:3 They received from Moses all the offerings the Israelites had brought to carry out the work of constructing the sanctuary. And the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning.

36:4 So all the skilled craftsmen who were doing all the work on the sanctuary left their work

36:5 and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the LORD commanded to be done.”

36:6 Then Moses gave an order and they sent this word throughout the camp: “No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” And so the people were restrained from bringing more,

36:7 because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work.

36:8 All the skilled men among the workmen made the tabernacle with ten curtains of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, with cherubim worked into them by a skilled craftsman.

36:9 All the curtains were the same size–twenty-eight cubits long and four cubits wide.

36:10 They joined five of the curtains together and did the same with the other five.

36:11 Then they made loops of blue material along the edge of the end curtain in one set, and the same was done with the end curtain in the other set.

36:12 They also made fifty loops on one curtain and fifty loops on the end curtain of the other set, with the loops opposite each other.

36:13 Then they made fifty gold clasps and used them to fasten the two sets of curtains together so that the tabernacle was a unit.

36:14 They made curtains of goat hair for the tent over the tabernacle–eleven altogether.

36:15 All eleven curtains were the same size–thirty cubits long and four cubits wide.

36:16 They joined five of the curtains into one set and the other six into another set.

36:17 Then they made fifty loops along the edge of the end curtain in one set and also along the edge of the end curtain in the other set.

36:18 They made fifty bronze clasps to fasten the tent together as a unit.

36:19 Then they made for the tent a covering of ram skins dyed red, and over that a covering of hides of sea cows.

36:20 They made upright frames of acacia wood for the tabernacle.

36:21 Each frame was ten cubits long and a cubit and a half wide,

36:22 with two projections set parallel to each other. They made all the frames of the tabernacle in this way.

36:23 They made twenty frames for the south side of the tabernacle

36:24 and made forty silver bases to go under them–two bases for each frame, one under each projection.

36:25 For the other side, the north side of the tabernacle, they made twenty frames

36:26 and forty silver bases–two under each frame.

36:27 They made six frames for the far end, that is, the west end of the tabernacle,

36:28 and two frames were made for the corners of the tabernacle at the far end.

36:29 At these two corners the frames were double from the bottom all the way to the top and fitted into a single ring; both were made alike.

36:30 So there were eight frames and sixteen silver bases–two under each frame.

36:31 They also made crossbars of acacia wood: five for the frames on one side of the tabernacle,

36:32 five for those on the other side, and five for the frames on the west, at the far end of the tabernacle.

36:33 They made the center crossbar so that it extended from end to end at the middle of the frames.

36:34 They overlaid the frames with gold and made gold rings to hold the crossbars. They also overlaid the crossbars with gold.

36:35 They made the curtain of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen, with cherubim worked into it by a skilled craftsman.

36:36 They made four posts of acacia wood for it and overlaid them with gold. They made gold hooks for them and cast their four silver bases.

36:37 For the entrance to the tent they made a curtain of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen–the work of an embroiderer;

36:38 and they made five posts with hooks for them. They overlaid the tops of the posts and their bands with gold and made their five bases of bronze.

36:1 And Bezalel and Oholiab and every man who is wise in heart, in whom Jehovah has put wisdom and understanding to know how to do all the work for the service of the sanctuary, shall work according to all that Jehovah has commanded.

36:2 And Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every man who was wise in heart, in whose heart Jehovah had put wisdom, even everyone whose heart lifted him up to come to the work to do it.

36:3 And they received from Moses every heave offering which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to carry it out. And they still kept bringing to him freewill offerings every morning.

36:4 And all the wise men who did all the work of the sanctuary came, every man from his work which he was doing,

36:5 And spoke to Moses, saying, The people are bringing much more than enough for the service of the work which Jehovah commanded us to do.

36:6 And Moses gave commandment; and a proclamation was passed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman produce any more material for the heave offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.

36:7 For the material they had was sufficient and more than enough for all the work, to do it.

36:8 And all the wise in heart among those who did the work made the tabernacle with ten curtains, of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet strands, with cherubim, the work of a skillful workman. Bezalel made them.

36:9 The length of each curtain was twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each curtain, four cubits; all the curtains had the same measurement.

36:10 And he joined five curtains to one another, and the other five curtains he joined to one another.

36:11 And he made loops of blue strands upon the edge of the one curtain at the end in the set; likewise he made them in the edge of the outermost curtain in the second set.

36:12 He made fifty loops on the one curtain, and he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that was in the second set; the loops were opposite one another.

36:13 And he made fifty clasps of gold and joined the curtains to one another with the clasps; so the tabernacle became one.

36:14 And he made curtains of goats hair for a tent over the tabernacle; eleven curtains he made in all.

36:15 The length of each curtain was thirty cubits, and the width of each curtain, four cubits; the eleven curtains had the same measurement.

36:16 And he joined five of the curtains by themselves, and six of the curtains by themselves.

36:17 And he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that was outermost in the set, and fifty loops he made upon the edge of the curtain which was outermost in the second set.

36:18 And he made fifty clasps of bronze to join the tent together, that it might become one.

36:19 And he made a covering for the tent, of rams skins dyed red, and a covering of porpoise skins above it.

36:20 And he made the boards for the tabernacle of acacia wood, standing up.

36:21 Ten cubits was the length of a board, and one and a half cubits, the width of each board.

36:22 Each board had two tenons joined to one another; thus he did for all the boards of the tabernacle.

36:23 And he made the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards for the south side southward.

36:24 And he made forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards, two sockets under one board for its two tenons and two sockets under the next board for its two tenons.

36:25 And for the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, he made twenty boards

36:26 And their forty sockets of silver, two sockets under one board and two sockets under the next board.

36:27 And for the rear of the tabernacle westward he made six boards.

36:28 And two boards he made for the corners of the tabernacle in the rear.

36:29 And they were double below, and at its top they were completely joined to a single ring; thus he did to both of them for the two corners.

36:30 And there were eight boards with their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets, two sockets under every board.

36:31 And he made bars of acacia wood, five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle

36:32 And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle at the rear westward.

36:33 And he made the middle bar to pass through in the center of the boards from end to end.

36:34 And he overlaid the boards with gold and made their rings of gold as holders for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.

36:35 And he made the veil of blue and purple and scarlet strands and fine twined linen; he made it with cherubim, the work of a skillful workman.

36:36 And he made for it four pillars of acacia and overlaid them with gold; their hooks were of gold. And he cast for them four sockets of silver.

36:37 And he made a screen for the entrance of the tent, of blue and purple and scarlet strands and fine twined linen, the work of an embroiderer,

36:38 And its five pillars with their hooks. And he overlaid their capitals and their connecting rods with gold, and their five sockets were of bronze.
