29:1 “This is what you are to do to consecrate them, so they may serve me as priests: Take a young bull and two rams without defect.
29:2 And from fine wheat flour, without yeast, make bread, and cakes mixed with oil, and wafers spread with oil.
29:3 Put them in a basket and present them in it–along with the bull and the two rams.
29:4 Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water.
29:5 Take the garments and dress Aaron with the tunic, the robe of the ephod, the ephod itself and the breastpiece. Fasten the ephod on him by its skillfully woven waistband.
29:6 Put the turban on his head and attach the sacred diadem to the turban.
29:7 Take the anointing oil and anoint him by pouring it on his head.
29:8 Bring his sons and dress them in tunics
29:9 and put headbands on them. Then tie sashes on Aaron and his sons. The priesthood is theirs by a lasting ordinance. In this way you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.
29:10 “Bring the bull to the front of the Tent of Meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.
29:11 Slaughter it in the LORD’S presence at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
29:12 Take some of the bull’s blood and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and pour out the rest of it at the base of the altar.
29:13 Then take all the fat around the inner parts, the covering of the liver, and both kidneys with the fat on them, and burn them on the altar.
29:14 But burn the bull’s flesh and its hide and its offal outside the camp. It is a sin offering.
29:15 “Take one of the rams, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.
29:16 Slaughter it and take the blood and sprinkle it against the altar on all sides.
29:17 Cut the ram into pieces and wash the inner parts and the legs, putting them with the head and the other pieces.
29:18 Then burn the entire ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the LORD, a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire.
29:19 “Take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.
29:20 Slaughter it, take some of its blood and put it on the lobes of the right ears of Aaron and his sons, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. Then sprinkle blood against the altar on all sides.
29:21 And take some of the blood on the altar and some of the anointing oil and sprinkle it on Aaron and his garments and on his sons and their garments. Then he and his sons and their garments will be consecrated.
29:22 “Take from this ram the fat, the fat tail, the fat around the inner parts, the covering of the liver, both kidneys with the fat on them, and the right thigh. (This is the ram for the ordination.)
29:23 From the basket of bread made without yeast, which is before the LORD, take a loaf, and a cake made with oil, and a wafer.
29:24 Put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons and wave them before the LORD as a wave offering.
29:25 Then take them from their hands and burn them on the altar along with the burnt offering for a pleasing aroma to the LORD, an offering made to the LORD by fire.
29:26 After you take the breast of the ram for Aaron’s ordination, wave it before the LORD as a wave offering, and it will be your share.
29:27 “Consecrate those parts of the ordination ram that belong to Aaron and his sons: the breast that was waved and the thigh that was presented.
29:28 This is always to be the regular share from the Israelites for Aaron and his sons. It is the contribution the Israelites are to make to the LORD from their fellowship offerings.
29:29 “Aaron’s sacred garments will belong to his descendants so that they can be anointed and ordained in them.
29:30 The son who succeeds him as priest and comes to the Tent of Meeting to minister in the Holy Place is to wear them seven days.
29:31 “Take the ram for the ordination and cook the meat in a sacred place.
29:32 At the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, Aaron and his sons are to eat the meat of the ram and the bread that is in the basket.
29:33 They are to eat these offerings by which atonement was made for their ordination and consecration. But no one else may eat them, because they are sacred.
29:34 And if any of the meat of the ordination ram or any bread is left over till morning, burn it up. It must not be eaten, because it is sacred.
29:35 “Do for Aaron and his sons everything I have commanded you, taking seven days to ordain them.
29:36 Sacrifice a bull each day as a sin offering to make atonement. Purify the altar by making atonement for it, and anoint it to consecrate it.
29:37 For seven days make atonement for the altar and consecrate it. Then the altar will be most holy, and whatever touches it will be holy.
29:38 “This is what you are to offer on the altar regularly each day: two lambs a year old.
29:39 Offer one in the morning and the other at twilight.
29:40 With the first lamb offer a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil from pressed olives, and a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering.
29:41 Sacrifice the other lamb at twilight with the same grain offering and its drink offering as in the morning–a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire.
29:42 “For the generations to come this burnt offering is to be made regularly at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting before the LORD. There I will meet you and speak to you;
29:43 there also I will meet with the Israelites, and the place will be consecrated by my glory.
29:44 “So I will consecrate the Tent of Meeting and the altar and will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests.
29:45 Then I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God.
29:46 They will know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them out of Egypt so that I might dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.
29:1 And this is what you shall do to them to sanctify them to serve Me as priests: take one bull of the herd and two rams without blemish,
29:2 And unleavened bread and unleavened cakes mingled with oil and unleavened wafers anointed with oil ? you shall make them of fine wheat flour.
29:3 And you shall put them into one basket and present them in the basket with the bull and the two rams.
29:4 And you shall bring Aaron and his sons near to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and wash them with water.
29:5 And you shall take the garments and clothe Aaron with the tunic and the robe of the ephod and the ephod and the breastplate, and gird him with the skillfully woven band of the ephod;
29:6 And you shall place the turban on his head and put the holy crown on the turban.
29:7 Then you shall take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him.
29:8 And you shall bring his sons near and put tunics on them.
29:9 And you shall gird them with girding sashes, Aaron and his sons, and bind high hats on them; and they shall have the priesthood by a perpetual statute. So you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.
29:10 And you shall present the bull before the Tent of Meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the bull.
29:11 And you shall slaughter the bull before Jehovah at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
29:12 And you shall take some of the blood of the bull and put some of it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and all the rest of the blood you shall pour out at the base of the altar.
29:13 And you shall take all the fat that covers the inward parts and the appendage on the liver and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar.
29:14 But the flesh of the bull and its skin and its dung you shall burn with fire outside the camp; it is a sin offering.
29:15 And you shall also take the one ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.
29:16 And you shall slaughter the ram, and you shall take its blood and sprinkle it on and around the altar.
29:17 Then you shall cut the ram into its pieces and wash its inward parts and its legs, and put them with its pieces and its head.
29:18 And you shall burn the whole ram on the altar; it is a burnt offering to Jehovah; it is a satisfying fragrance, an offering by fire to Jehovah.
29:19 And you shall take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.
29:20 Then you shall slaughter the ram and take some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron s right ear and on the lobe of the right ear of his sons and on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the rest of the blood on and around the altar.
29:21 And you shall take some of the blood that is on the altar and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and on his garments, and on his sons and on his sons garments with him; and he and his garments shall be sanctified, as well as his sons and his sons garments with him.
29:22 You shall also take the fat from the ram, that is, the fat tail and the fat that covers the inward parts, and the appendage of the liver and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them and the right thigh (for it is a ram of consecration),
29:23 And one loaf of bread and one cake of oiled bread and one wafer out of the basket of unleavened bread that is before Jehovah;
29:24 And you shall put all these in the palms of Aaron and in the palms of his sons, and wave them as a wave offering before Jehovah.
29:25 And you shall take them from their hands and burn them on the altar upon the burnt offering for a satisfying fragrance before Jehovah; it is an offering by fire to Jehovah.
29:26 And you shall take the breast of the ram of Aaron s consecration and wave it as a wave offering before Jehovah; and it shall be your portion.
29:27 And you shall sanctify the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering which was waved and which was heaved up from the ram of consecration, from that which is for Aaron and from that which is for his sons.
29:28 And it shall become a perpetual statute for Aaron and his sons to be observed by the children of Israel, for it is a heave offering; and it shall be a heave offering from the children of Israel from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, their heave offering to Jehovah.
29:29 (And the holy garments of Aaron shall belong to his sons after him, for them to be anointed in them and to be consecrated in them.
29:30 One of his sons, who is the priest in his place, shall put them on for seven days when he comes into the Tent of Meeting to minister in the sanctuary.)
29:31 And you shall take the ram of consecration and boil its flesh in a holy place.
29:32 And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
29:33 So they shall eat those things by which expiation was made, to consecrate them and to sanctify them; but a stranger shall not eat them, because they are holy.
29:34 And if any of the flesh of the ram of consecration or any of the bread remains until the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire; it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.
29:35 And thus you shall do to Aaron and to his sons according to all that I have commanded you; you shall consecrate them seven days.
29:36 And each day you shall offer a bull as a sin offering for expiation, and you shall cleanse the altar when you make expiation for it; and you shall anoint it to sanctify it.
29:37 Seven days you shall make expiation for the altar and sanctify it, and the altar shall become most holy; whatever touches the altar shall be holy.
29:38 Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two lambs a year old, each day continually.
29:39 The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight.
29:40 And with the one lamb a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mingled with a fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering.
29:41 And the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; you shall offer it with the meal offering and its drink offering as in the morning, for a satisfying fragrance, an offering by fire to Jehovah.
29:42 It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting before Jehovah, where I will meet with you to speak to you there.
29:43 And there I will meet with the children of Israel; and it shall be sanctified by My glory.
29:44 And I will sanctify the Tent of Meeting and the altar. Aaron also and his sons I will sanctify to serve Me as priests.
29:45 And I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel, and I will be their God.
29:46 And they shall know that I am Jehovah their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell in the midst of them; I am Jehovah their God.
